Returns Policy

Purchasing a pot over the Internet has some built-in risks....mostly related to photography.  We try very hard to give you as close an approximation of what you are buying as is humanly possible.  There are often multiple views of any given pot and if you use the rollover capability of your mouse you will get an even more multi-dimensional approximation.  But nothing can compare to the actual tactile experience when you hold the pot and turn it over in your hands. We'd like that experience to equal or exceed your expectations.  If you find, when you have spent some time with your pot(s) that you are dissatisfied, for any reason, please give me (Todd Piker) a personal call (860/946-9679) and you can have a discussion about your feelings.  The Option to return for a full refund will always be available but please bear in mind a potter has a very personal connection to everything made and it is important to understand what has transpired to give you pause about your purchase. Once we have a meeting of the minds about the issue we can devise a course of action.


If there has been breakage in shipping it is very important to Contact Us AND keep the package for inspection otherwise it will be impossible to compensate you for this breakage.  We will assign a Return Merchandise Assignment once we receive you email.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We use USPS or UPS. You can choose on CheckOut based on your location and the service you prefer. The posted Shipping Charge will be honored.

Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.  To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
