This pot is inspired by jars that date back 5000 years to prehistoric China. The pattern is very geometric and is echoed in many other types of world pottery made long before there was any kind of clear trade between remote peoples. For me this is clear, irrefutable proof that we share a universal imagination perhaps based on genetically embedded sources for shape and pattern. What are those sources?
